Segregation of Client's Funds

Segregation of client's funds is an extremely important factor in choosing a broker. Segregation literally means that clients' monies are not co-mingled with brokers own fund. In some jurisdictions, the segregation of fund is mandatory by law. The basic principle of segregation is to protect and safeguard money deposited by client in case of a broker default. However, the outstanding positions (contracts) are not covered under this protection. The contracts on a Futures Exchange will be allocated as per Exchange laws and OTC contracts will have to be settled bilaterally between the client and the broker.

At FLS, we are committed to ensure a high level of protection of client's funds. To maintain a strong reputation, trustworthiness as well as to protect the interest of its clients; all customers' funds are kept separate from FLS company funds. Client funds are kept in "trust" and are not used to secure any credit lines or drawn down for company's own expenses. All our clients' funds are kept at a top tier bank viz. Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ).
