FLS, short for Financial Leverage Services, has another significance to us. It stands for Fu Lu Shou – which refers to the concept of Good Fortune (Fu), Prosperity (Lu), and Longevity (Shou). The term is commonly used in Asian culture to denote the three attributes of a good life.
These elements are perfectly captured in our logo, which is a stylised rendition of the ancient Asian symbol for wealth and prosperity: the Koi. The word "koi" comes from Japanese, simply meaning "freshwater fish”. In our logo, the two Koi are in perfect symmetry and motion, symbolising the constant movement and flow of wealth. Furthermore, the word “fish” in Chinese, has the same pronunciation in Mandarin for “wealth”, “surplus” and “abundance”.
